Not surprisingly, mobile advertising spending is growing exponentially. As we increasingly move from desk top to mobile devices, advertising has followed. So much so that more money is spent on trying to reach us on our cellulars than online. According to MediaPost, ZenithOptimedia is predicting this will happen as early as 2017.
At the same time, more of us are learning to use ad blockers on our mobile devices. There are, however, a number of ads–mostly video and other content marketing–that slip through undetected by these apps.
Mobile is the new frontier and it’s time has come.
